(From Education Week) Schools nationwide are feeling the impact of Trump-era tariffs, with rising costs for essentials like supplies, food, vehicles, and technology. Some are making early purchases to avoid price hikes, while others are pausing or canceling projects. In Missouri, schools paid more for copy paper and bought Chromebooks early. In Alabama and Colorado, bus costs rose and electric upgrades stalled. Districts in Pennsylvania and Maryland postponed renovations and even a school opening. An Education Week poll found 82% expect sharp cost increases in key areas.
