(From Nonprofit Quarterly ) Since Donald Trump’s second term began, many nonprofits and foundations have feared retaliation for speaking out. A new report from the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy (NCRP) shows nearly 10% have removed potentially controversial content from their websites, including references to race, equity and inclusion. NCRP used a computer script to compare archived and current versions of 773 foundation websites. Examples of changes include:

  • “Black, Brown and all people of color” to “All people”
  • “Equity and Diversity” to “Building social capital”
  • “LGBTQ+ youth” to “Youth initiative”
