School security will be present at around 100 events, setting up security perimeters and minimizing outdoor entry lines, and virtual options will be available for remote viewing. The measures aim to provide a safe and supportive environment for all attendees.

(From ABC) Protests erupted after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained 18-year-old Massachusetts high school student Marcelo Gomes da Silva on his way to volleyball practice. Students staged a walkout Monday, holding “Free Marcelo” signs, following Sunday’s community demonstrations at Milford Town Hall. The student, who entered the U.S. in 2012 on a student visa that has since lapsed, has no criminal history.
