They were in talks to collaborate on graduate programs, when the Queens president announced retirement, inspiring the boards to consider the possibility of collaboration on a much larger scale. "
We were very excited about the Elon culture with [the college president's] leadership and Elon just being an impressive university,” said Queens' acting president.
