(from the New York Times) A pricey private A.I. school in Austin, called Alpha School, will be replicating itself across the country this fall. The academic model includes two hours of AI-assisted learning and then workshops on entrepreneurship, public speaking and financial literacy. There are no teachers, only "guides," who earn six figures. The school plans to open 12 new locations in the fall, some of which will be in rented space from existing private schools, and to offer its program to charter schools nationwide through Unbound Academy.
